It is our steadfast belief at the OVER THE RAINBOW GROUP that vibrant Black business communities are a prerequisite to creating and maintaining positive, prospering Black communities throughout the African Disporia. Without question, the internet and associated telecommunication technologies will play an integral role in meeting this requirement.
We recognize the difference between "surfers" and "buyers", and value the time and energy of the latter. We seek to facilitate greater patronage by Black (and other) online consumers of competent Black businesses, organizations and professionals who have invested in the creation of a web presence. We seek to remove barriers which impede the swift identification of (and provide a prompt, international nexus to) the websites of providers of the goods and services in our communities. We seek to transform ballyhooed "buying power" into meaningful "accummulated wealth".
We encourage site visitors to employ our website as a "Black Grapevine", facillitating many more in our communities supporting Black businesses, professionals, and organizations.
Someday, somewhere "over the rainbow".
